1) Very simple, drink plenty of water. Our bodies are composed mostly of water and believe it or not, our skin is the largest organ in the body. The skin needs to be properly hydrated to look good.
2) Avoid using soap on your face because it can be very drying. Personally, I would avoid using any commercial deodorant soaps all together. You do not need the chemical additives. Natural or organic soaps can cleanse, deodorize and smell great. Kiss My Face and Carved Solutions are two examples of body friendly soaps.
3) A five day liquid and blended food cleanse. They are nutritious because it includes a combination of veggies, fruits, almonds, herbs and spice without added salt, sugar or caffeine. I did it and my skin had an extra dewy glow to it. I suggest that if you do a cleanse you get support to make it through the withdrawals and cravings :). If interested in a cleanse call Ruth 203 455-7569
4) Reduce your stress. Stress can make your face dull and gray, never mind make you very ill. It really is easier than you think, just make the time and find ways that make you relax. Here are some suggestions. Exercise. e.g. take a walk outside (w/o your cell phone). Exercise can leave your skin with a pink, healthy glow. It increases circulation which nourishes the skin and removes harmful toxins. Receive a facial from Heidi or Whitney which includes a relaxing massage to the head, face, hands and feet. This can reduce stress while giving your skin the jump start it needs for a great complexion. Of course, I also recommend a full body therapeutic massage as an excellent stress reducer.

Healthy Skin Care Regime
Healthy Skin Care Regime!
Your skin is the body’s largest organ. We often take for granted that our skin protects us from the enduring elements of our environment. That is why it is so important to protect our skin as it protects us!!
Here are some tips;
3 step daily cleanse - twice a day, a.m. and p.m.
Step 1: Cleansing
Cleansers remove makeup and environmental impurities from the skin
Cleansing milks clean but also hydrate, revitalize and invigorate leaving a radiant, healthy completion.
Exfoliating cleansers soften and remove dead skin cells, which allows the skin to self purify and allows other products absorb. It allows a gentle daily exfoliation.
Step 2: Toning
Toners refresh and balance the skin.
Step 3: Moisturizers
Moisturizers hydrate and soften the skin. Depending on the your skins need they also can balance out your skin to help hydrate or control oil production. It is important to use a moisturizer everyday even for oily skin!
That is the easy skin care regime!!
Depending on what your skin needs you can bump it up...
below are some other things you can add to rejuvenate your skin…..
ADD A SERUM..
Serums give you an extra boost. They infuse your skin with much needed vitamins and minerals. They are highly concentrated so you only need a little. They provide a deeper penetration into the skin. The active ingredients plump and smooth your skin to control skin conditions and provide a youthful healthy look.
Exfoliating and Masking
(2-3x a week)
Exfoliating is the key to vibrant skin!!
For younger skin, exfoliation unplugs pores and keeps skin clear and smooth. For mature skin, exfoliation is essential to help minimize fine lines, remove dry flakes, revive sluggish skin and recover the youthful radiance of the skin.
Masking (1x to 2x a week) will dramatically increase the elasticity and health of your skin.
A treatment mask is used to control dryness, oiliness, acne, rosacea, or other special skin conditions.
It is never too soon to take care of or prevent the fine lines around your eyes. Anyone 25 and over needs an eye cream 2x a day.
And lets not forget your whole body!! It deserves as much attention! Applying a daily moisturizer will keep your skin hydrated, young and silky smooth after every bath or shower!
It is best to consult your Esthetician on what skin care products are best for your skin type.
I hope this helps answer any questions or concerns you may have about your daily skin care regime! Lets be honest we all want to look young as long as we can!!

6 Skills For Customer Service Success
We know what you are thinking, "Isn't this a blog about wellness and health?" Sure it is and we are busy working on articles for you to devour, use, and share. Until then, we pride ourselves on our customer service and we want to share it with you. Enjoy!
When a customer service representative can be the only personal face for an entire company, it is important to make sure that the person reflects well on the values of the employer. Most large businesses may seem like a nebulous, faceless entity, but one interaction with a customer service person can make or break a client’s relationship with the business entity. This article details six skills that a customer representative should have in order to make a great impression on clients.
Patience. The virtue of patience cannot be stressed enough for a customer service rep. If you think about it, it is usually confused or upset customers that contact customer service to fix their problems. Thus, these employees must have a great deal of patience dealing with frustrated or clueless customers. Losing your patience can mean losing a valued customer.
Flexibility. A person who specializes in interacting with people outside of a business must be flexible. Clients may call in with a variety of questions or requests, and a rep should be able to go with the flow and handle everything that they possibly can for the client. This also reflects well on the business in that they are shown as efficient and adept.
Control. Like patience, keeping your own emotions in check can help you successfully deal with a disgruntled customer. If a person contacts a customer service representative, yelling and screaming and complaining, a representative may feel like this is a direct attack on himself. However, it is usually just an outpouring of frustration. Yelling back at the unhappy client will get you nowhere.
Persuasion. Even if a person in this position is not directly involved in sales, having the power of persuasion can still come in handy. When a frustrated client contacts a rep, threatening to terminate his business with the company, a rep should be able to persuade the person otherwise.
Problem Solving. Everyone knows how it goes: you call in to a company, and after waiting on hold for hours, you get transferred from person to person as each claims that they can’t help you. For customer service jobs, being able to problem solve on your own can help you keep your clients happy. Try to either directly connect a client to who they need only if you cannot solve the problem yourself.
Communication. This skill is basically the key component of a customer service representative job. Communication involves both listening to the person’s problems as well as effectively advising them about solving the issue. Now, customer servicemen and women should be familiar with a variety of methods of contact, like written letters, emails, phone calls, in-person meetings, and even instant messaging.
Yes, instant messaging, also called live chat, is making its way into customer service as more and more businesses are turning to this beneficial way to help potential clients. For more information on live chat services, check out Ngage Live today.
