1) Very simple, drink plenty of water. Our bodies are composed mostly of water and believe it or not, our skin is the largest organ in the body. The skin needs to be properly hydrated to look good.
2) Avoid using soap on your face because it can be very drying. Personally, I would avoid using any commercial deodorant soaps all together. You do not need the chemical additives. Natural or organic soaps can cleanse, deodorize and smell great. Kiss My Face and Carved Solutions are two examples of body friendly soaps.
3) A five day liquid and blended food cleanse. They are nutritious because it includes a combination of veggies, fruits, almonds, herbs and spice without added salt, sugar or caffeine. I did it and my skin had an extra dewy glow to it. I suggest that if you do a cleanse you get support to make it through the withdrawals and cravings :). 4) Reduce your stress. Stress can make your face dull and gray, never mind make you very ill. It really is easier than you think, just make the time and find ways that make you relax. Here are some suggestions. Exercise. e.g. take a walk outside (w/o your cell phone). Exercise can leave your skin with a pink, healthy glow. It increases circulation which nourishes the skin and removes harmful toxins. Receive a facial from Heidi or Whitney which includes a relaxing massage to the head, face, hands and feet. This can reduce stress while giving your skin the jump start it needs for a great complexion. Of course, I also recommend a full body therapeutic massage as an excellent stress reducer.
